Breaking news: Scientists make progress understanding the condition PSDD which so tragically effects so many children

Scientists have made a break-through understanding PSDD. (Physical Skills Dis-coordination Disability).

Ok. Here is what we did: we took 20 children and put them in a room. We gave them some tasks to do; juggling balls etc. We noticed that some were less able at this than others. We picked the 5 worst ones and put them on one side. Then we took 5 from the other group. Then we got these two groups (the PSDD group and the normals) to do the tests again - this time with electrodes attached to their brains and to a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner. The 5 with PSDD were understandably a bit nervous as they'd been told there was something wrong with them but we thought it would be unscientific to factor this into the results. Our results clearly showed that in the PSDD group there was less activity in the [insert technical sounding name for an area of the brain here] than in the normals. Thus we were able to hypothesise that PSDD is linked to abnormal development in the [insert technical sounding name for area of brain here]. As you can see from the accompagnying brain scans these children are very ill indeed.

And yes. Amazing though it sounds the British government is funding this kind of nonsense and people are making careers out of it.
